Welcome to our website. Glendar Poodles began when Glenn and I met and discovered that we shared a great love of Poodles. I had previously shown in Obedience as early as 1962, later becoming involved in Conformation as well. Glenn and I decided that one of our goals would be to breed and show black and brown Toy Poodles that epitomized the breed standard and improved with each generation.

We want our Poodles to be healthy as well as beautiful, so they are tested for genetic problems. We offer champion stud dogs to tested and approved females only. We occasionally have pet puppies available, mainly because of size. All pet puppies are sold on spay/neuter contracts. When show prospects are available they leave our home at the age of a minimum of 5 months and go to an approved handler until finished.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the past 40+ years in dogs. We have met and become friends with so many great people. We are currently members of the Great Lakes Poodle Club of Chicago. Some of our great achievements have included: numerous champions, multiple Group and BOB wins and .BOV at PCA! We are also members of the Central Indiana Poodle Club of Indianapolis, Indiana.
